I’ve completely fallen off with blogging… again. I can’t even use the excuse that I don’t have time; I’ve been on break since December, and I haven’t been doing much other than hanging out and catching up on my reading. I think my major problem is that, in having theme posts to add some variety to my blog, I got bored quickly. It just wasn’t organic. I could find a really interesting health article that I wanted to write about but, because it wasn’t Monday, I had to skip it in favor of whatever the theme for that day was. And yes, obviously I could have written about the health topic anyway, but one of the major things I’ve learned about blogging, especially having a successful blog, is that you have to be consistent. And unfortunately, that’s something I am not. At least not yet.
So I’m starting over. Again. I’m scrapping the theme posts to allow myself the freedom of writing whatever I want to write that day. I’m also considering starting a separate health blog. After all, if that is going to be my profession after graduation, I need to get in the habit of writing about it more frequently. So let’s see what happens this time. Maybe I’ll actually be able to write something at least three or four times a week, if not more. I can only hope I stick to it for once.
